Hospitality Education Foundation

The NC Hospitality Education Foundation (NC HEF) is a non-profit 501(c)3 organization founded in 2003 that provides necessary resources for building an educated, strong and committed workforce for the hospitality and tourism industry in North Carolina. To date, just over $500,000 has been awarded in scholarships and grants during the past five years. 

  • Provide scholarships to assist individuals in pursuing educational programs in hospitality and tourism,
     
  • Support educational programs through grants and school-to-career programs for those starting out in the industry,
     
  • Develop and provide continuing education programs for those currently in the industry.
     
  •  Build North Carolina's hospitality workforce through career exploration and development programs, scholarships and image enhancement.
